Newbuild Redesign, Berkshire
This was a fairly newly built house that the clients had purchased. They wanted to make various changes including a new kitchen and other upgrading which they undertook themselves.
They already had some furniture but they wanted soft furnishings and occasional furniture to finish their home.
In close collaboration with the clients, Koubou supplied flooring, curtains and blinds, furniture and lighting.
I was lucky enough to have Koubou install three new bathrooms in my house. they were not large bathrooms – 2 shower rooms and a family just bathroom! there was much discussion before the work began so that as far as possible all the decoration, placing of the fittings, change of door positions would be clear and the work could go forward as planned.
The work commenced and was completed by one contractor with the addition of a specialist floor layer and a painter. There were one or two difficulties down the line – if anyone thinks that any installation will go completely without hiccup they are wrong – but the best thing is to get in touch immediately and discuss next steps. This I found particularly easy with Koubou and the difficulties were easily overcome to my satisfaction! It is the mark of a good company when problems are sorted out in this fashion without recrimination and bad feeling – I have had problems before with other building works.
A year down the line – I am still thrilled with the results. The work was carried out in the time first quoted – to the highest specification and I have had no difficulties with the bath furniture installed!
